 The entry permit to Beijing refers to a temporary permit for non Beijing licensed motor vehicles to enter the city within (excluding) the Sixth Ring Road in Beijing, as well as some sections outside the Sixth Ring Road. The validity period is 7 days.
 The procedures for handling the Beijing Entry Permit are as follows:
 1. The owner of the vehicle carries the relevant identity certificate (local identity card or temporary residence card) to the neighborhood committee of the street where the vehicle is located for filing;
 2. Take the certificate issued by the street safety committee to the local testing site for exhaust gas testing, and get the exhaust gas certificate;
 3. If it is a personal vehicle, you need to carry your identity certificate, neighborhood committee certificate, exhaust certificate, compulsory traffic insurance, driving license, and driving license to the local traffic team for handling; If it is a company vehicle, it needs to carry a copy of the organization code certificate of a foreign organization stationed in Beijing. That is, if the vehicle of an overseas company wants to apply for a long-term entry permit, it must have a branch in Beijing and be subordinate to the original unit. Otherwise, it cannot apply for long-term entry into Beijing, and it can only use short-term procedures for many times.
 Legal basis
 According to the Notice of Beijing Municipality on Taking Traffic Management Measures for Some Passenger Cars, the first entry to the roads within the Sixth Ring Road (not included) and the whole area of Tongzhou District (not including the main highway road) must apply for a pass to Beijing. The entry permit to Beijing shall be placed at the lower left side of the inner side of the front windshield of the vehicle (those who apply for the permit through the "Beijing Traffic Police APP" shall download and print it by themselves).
