Drinking driving is a serious illegal behavior, so the public security law enforcement is relatively strict.

The Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses, which came into effect on January 1, 2013, clearly stipulates that a motor vehicle driver who drives a motor vehicle after drinking alcohol will be scored 12 points at a time. If a motor vehicle driver has recorded 12 points during the internship period, his driving qualification for the permitted model of internship will be cancelled. If the cancelled driving qualification does not belong to the highest permitted driving model, the driving qualification of the highest permitted driving model shall also be cancelled.
 3. Those who drive after drinking will also be punished at the same time: According to the Criminal Law Amendment (VIII) and the revised Road Traffic Safety Law, those who drive motor vehicles after drinking will be temporarily detained for six months and fined between 1000 yuan and 2000 yuan.
 4. The driving behavior of the vehicle driver whose blood alcohol content is greater than or equal to 80100 is drunk driving. If the driver is drunk driving a motor vehicle, the traffic management department of the public security organ shall restrict him to sober up, revoke his motor vehicle driving license, and investigate his criminal responsibility according to law; No motor vehicle driver's license may be obtained again within five years.
