China Guanghe New Energy Holding Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CGN New Energy"), an important secondary member company of China Guanghe Group, was listed in Hong Kong in October 2014, positioned as an important platform for CGN to develop and operate non nuclear clean and renewable energy power generation projects, and was fully responsible for the operation, development, reform and innovation of the new energy industry in CGN. CGN New Energy is a pilot unit of three reforms of the State owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the People's Republic of China (SASAC), and won Grade A in the special evaluation of the three system reforms of "double hundred enterprises" by the State Council's state-owned enterprise reform leading group in 2020.
CGN officially started its new energy business in 2007. After more than ten years of development, the new energy business has become an important pillar industry of CGN's "6+1" industrial pattern, covering wind power, solar energy, energy storage, pumped storage and other types. By the end of 2022, the total installed capacity of CGN New Energy has exceeded 35 million kilowatts.
