Xi Jinping pointed out that it is a pleasure to pay a state visit to France again on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France at the invitation of President Makron. I held fruitful talks with President Makron. We agree that China France relations have precious history, unique value and important mission. The two sides should pass on the baton of history, carry forward the spirit of establishing diplomatic relations between China and France and endow it with new era connotation, so as to start a new journey of China France relations in the next 60 years.

We decided to do a good job in the following aspects.
First, consolidate strategic stability in bilateral relations. I welcome President Makron to visit China again. China and France reaffirmed that they respect each other's core interests and will make good use of multi-level and multi-dimensional communication channels between the two countries to communicate and coordinate policy positions in a timely manner.
Second, tap the broad potential of mutually beneficial cooperation. The two sides will promote the upward balance of bilateral trade, expand cooperation in agriculture, food, finance and other fields, promote joint research and innovation in aerospace, civil nuclear energy and other fields, strengthen the docking of development strategies, and expand cooperation in emerging fields such as green energy, intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, artificial intelligence, and third-party markets. China has fully liberalized access to manufacturing industry and will accelerate the opening of market access to telecommunications, medical and other service industries. We encourage the expansion of two-way investment and are committed to providing a good business environment for enterprises in the other country. During this visit, the two sides signed 18 inter departmental cooperation agreements covering aviation, agriculture, humanities, green development, small and medium-sized enterprise cooperation and other fields.
The third is to speed up the "two-way travel" of people to people and cultural exchanges. Take the Sino French Year of Cultural Tourism as an opportunity to promote cooperation in education, sports, film and television, youth, and local areas. China supports France in hosting the Paris Olympic Games, welcomes more French friends to China, decides to extend the visa free policy for citizens of 12 countries including France to come to China for a short time until the end of 2025, and supports the opening of direct flights from Shanghai to Marseille. The Fujian Shipbuilding School of China, which was built 150 years ago by French people, and the work study program in France at the beginning of the last century are all good stories in the history of educational exchanges between the two countries. We welcome France as the guest of honor of this year's China International Education Annual Conference, and promote the number of French students studying in China to exceed 10000 in the next three years, and the exchange scale of European teenagers in China to double.
Fourth, we should build greater consensus on global cooperation. The two sides will deepen cooperation in such fields as climate change and biodiversity, and strengthen dialogue in such fields as global governance of artificial intelligence and reform of the international financial system. China supports France in hosting the 2025 UN Oceans Conference and encourages the pairing of national parks and nature reserves between the two countries.
Xi Jinping pointed out that the world today is not peaceful. As a permanent member of the United Nations Security Council and a responsible major country, China is willing to work with France to propose a global ceasefire during the Games, taking the Paris Olympic Games as an opportunity.
With regard to the Palestinian Israeli conflict, this tragedy has been a test of human conscience, and the international community must do something. We call for an immediate, comprehensive and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza, support Palestine's becoming a full member of the United Nations, support the restoration of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian nation, restart the "two State solution", and achieve lasting peace in the Middle East.
On the crisis in Ukraine, China has stated its position many times. China is neither the maker of the crisis nor the party or participant, but we have not watched from afar, but have been playing an active role in achieving peace. The Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs has started the third round of shuttle mediation. At the same time, we are opposed to using the Ukrainian crisis to dump the pot, discredit third countries and incite the "new cold war". History has repeatedly proved that any conflict can only be resolved through negotiation. We call on all parties to resume contact and dialogue and gradually accumulate mutual trust; Support the timely convening of an international peace conference recognized by Russia and Ukraine, with equal participation of all parties and fair discussion of all peace plans; Support the establishment of a balanced, effective and sustainable European security framework.
Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China. After 75 years of arduous struggle, China's national outlook and people's life have undergone tremendous changes, but one thing has never changed: our peaceful and good nature, broad and inclusive mind, and our pursuit of fairness and justice. It is rooted in more than 5000 years of Chinese civilization and grows in the soul of the Chinese people. China is willing to work with all countries in the world, including France, to develop friendly and cooperative relations on the basis of mutual respect, and work together to move forward, bear hardships and create a better future.
