The latest issue of public funds market data released by the China Fund Industry Association shows that by the end of April this year, the total size of public funds had reached 30.78 trillion yuan, reaching 30 trillion yuan for the first time. The public funds industry has ushered in a historic moment. As an important source of medium - and long-term capital in the capital market, equity funds (including equity funds and hybrid funds) contributed more than 150 billion yuan in scale increment.
Among them, the management scale of equity funds climbed to 3.18 trillion yuan, an increase of 85.939 billion yuan from March, or 2.78% month on month, and the management scale reached a record high. Over the same period, the share of equity funds reached 2.74 trillion, up 0.75% month on month. In terms of hybrid funds dominated by active equity products, its latest fund shares were 3.41 trillion, down slightly from March. The latest management scale reached 3.72 trillion yuan, an increase of 68088 million yuan compared with March. Overall, the overall management scale of equity funds of public funds reached 6.9 trillion yuan, an increase of 154.027 billion yuan month on month.
It is worth mentioning that since February this year, the A-share market has recovered. Wind information data shows that from February 5 to May 26 this year, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Index rose 13.14%, the Shenzhen Stock Exchange Index rose 16.99%, and the GEM Index, Science and Technology Innovation 50 and other major indexes also performed well.
In addition, according to the reporter's statistics, as of May 26, there were 721 active equity fund products in the market with an annual floating profit of more than 10%, of which 63 active equity fund products had an annual floating profit of more than 20%. For example, the intra year floating profit of Bosera Growth Selection hybrid securities investment fund reached 30%, and the intra year floating profit of Southern Development Opportunity one-year holding period hybrid securities investment fund reached 26%. Among the top performers are Yongying long-term value hybrid securities investment fund, Wanjia dual engine flexible allocation hybrid securities investment fund, Huitianfu brand power one-year holding hybrid securities investment fund, Harvest Resources Selected Equity Sponsored Securities Investment Fund, Yongying Equity Preferred Hybrid Securities Investment Fund, etc.
In addition, foreign investment in China's equity market has also recovered recently. Marty Dropkin, head of equity investment in Asia Pacific region of Fidelity International, said to reporters: "The relatively attractive valuation levels of A-shares and Hong Kong shares have attracted global capital attention, so the Asian stock market has been active recently."
