The fifth meeting of the China Iran Joint Committee on Agriculture was held in Beijing. The meeting was co chaired by Ma Youxiang, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and Hawaz, First Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture of Iran. The two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on cooperation in rice, wheat and other crop planting, pest control, agricultural mechanization, aquaculture and other fields.
