Bell lit a fire and boiled water on a deserted island to survive. At night, he was awakened by wild animals from time to time in his dream. In a variety of dangerous environments, such as shipwrecks, crashes, deserts, rainforests, he vividly demonstrated hundreds of simple and practical survival skills. I admire him for his calm and fearless spirit of making tools to help himself in the face of difficulties!

This is the plot of a book I found at my friend's house, "Survival in the Wilderness". As soon as I saw the smile on the dirty face on the cover, I knew that this was the story about Bell's survival being broadcast on TV. I borrowed it back home with great surprise.

In the summer vacation, I took "Survival in the Wilderness, Three Days and Three Nights on the White Wolf Wilderness" to participate in the summer camp activity of "Strong China, Strong Youth". The activities of the special forces summer camp are hard and compact, so I can only spend a little time after dinner reading.

On the first day of the activity, we had a boring queue training. Everyone stood still. Ten minutes later, my legs began to get sore. I really want to have a rest secretly. However, I remembered the words of Bell, the hero in the book, who encouraged his companions: "If you overcome your own pain, you will find that you can take another step, and then take another step. Soon, your body will adapt to this rhythm." I insisted on finishing the line. When I returned to the lounge, I found a blackboard hanging on the wall, with four characters of "deserter list" written on it, and a dozen names of "deserters" below. I'm glad I stuck to it and didn't become a deserter, otherwise I would have gone to the wall as well.

In the outward bound training, when I saw the eight meter high column on the playground, my heart cooled a lot. How can I climb so high! Instructors put on helmets and safety belts for us, and began to climb up step by step. My palms began to sweat, my legs were trembling slightly, and everyone's shouting below encouraged me to climb up. At the top, I pushed hard and reached for the tripod. The shelf was not grasped, and I "fell" down and swung in mid air.

Although I didn't succeed, I worked hard to overcome my fear. Just like learning, there are more and more homework, but as long as we are serious and persistent, we can defeat ourselves and achieve a good result!
