After reading lesson 16 "Golden Hook", my eyes were moist, and moving pictures flashed in my mind. This text mainly describes that on the way to the Long March, a cooking squad leader was entrusted by the Party organization to take care of three sick young soldiers, and walked out of the endless grassland at the expense of his moving deeds. The most touching thing was that he tried his best to give the three patients delicious fish soup, but he didn't eat it himself. The patient's health is getting better day by day, but the old monitor's body is getting thinner day by day.
When I read that "the old monitor was holding an enamel bowl in his hand, chewing a few grass roots and the fish bones we had left, and after chewing for a while, he frowned and choked." I was like the Xiaoliang in the story, as if I felt that there were thousands of steel needles sticking into the throat, and tears were falling down. What good comrades, what good comrades in arms, what good elders! The old monitor is always anxious for others! He is both a nurse and an attendant. Every day, he would help the wounded to bandage the wound and change the gauze. When the gauze was gone, he would tear off his clothes, tear them into strips of thin cloth, and then bandage the wound. Everywhere he went, he would clean it. Each time, he would set up a small tent with a few sticks and a piece of rag, so that the wounded could live comfortably and not be exposed to the wind and rain.
In order to increase the nutrition of the sick, the old monitor found bait and fished during the day; At night, he had to touch wild vegetables with his hands because of his bad eyes. He firmly believes that when he catches a fish, he catches hope; When you touch the wild vegetables, you can touch the edge of the terrible grass. What a respectable old monitor! For the sake of the revolutionary cause, he would rather suffer all the hardships himself, but also keep these young comrades. This is the noble quality of being loyal to the revolution and self sacrifice! At the same time, I felt very guilty. We live in peaceful times and don't cherish the happy life. When our shoes are old, we throw them away. When we stick a little pen and water on our clothes, we don't wear them. When we eat a delicious box of food, we pour it out. When we bite a big apple, we throw it into the trash. We always feel that these things are easy to get. It doesn't matter if we throw it away. Recall that during the Long March of the Red Army, they wanted to eat a grain of rice but could not eat it. It took many days to eat a bag of green grain noodles. Thinking of these, I felt uneasy for a long time, and felt that I was totally different from them.
Red Army soldiers, your hardworking, thrifty spirit is always worth learning. In the future, we should learn from the Red Army soldiers, their noble spirit of self sacrifice and their loyalty to communism. In life, we should be diligent and thrifty; You should study hard and practice hard, and become a useful person for the country when you grow up! The Red Army - a monument to our progress!
