What we advocate today is to encourage teachers to take the professional life path of education and teaching research. Therefore, books for teachers are more methodological books, and most of them are education and teaching methods, such as class teacher work examples and classroom teaching examples. The classification is more and more detailed, and more and more close to the actual work of teachers. In teacher training, the content of subject knowledge is very little, which is almost the general quality requirements of teachers, but also focuses on the solution of teachers' practical problems. In school-based training, education and teaching problems are taken as the research object. Through reflection on problems, teachers can improve their understanding and update their ideas. These aspects should belong to the category of teachers' professional development, and the positive role of teachers' growth is obvious. However, the limitations of blindly indulging in "methodology" are also obvious.

After work, they are unwilling to read, and then broaden and extend the knowledge of the disciplines they teach; More reluctant to read theoretical books, reading fun choose leisure and practical; In education and teaching, the spirit of scientific analysis is lacking, on the one hand because of the lack of tradition of scientific research, on the other hand because of the lack of professional scientific analysis knowledge and ability; He believes that teaching is a simple thing, as long as some "technology" is enough, not only teachers think so, but also the appointment of teachers by the education administration department; Teachers have never regarded themselves as "experts" in their minds. Both society and parents can give advice on education and teaching. We have never thought about the possible consequences of doing so. In short, the so-called "specialty" is nothing in the minds of teachers. The professional development of teachers is manifested in the development of professional knowledge, professional skills, professional ideals, professional ideas, professional quality, professional wisdom, etc. We should take the "scholar" and "educator" as the goal of pursuit, and occupy a seat in our own professional field or teaching field, so as to take a professional road.
