Thoughts on Dong Shilang's Diary

During the summer vacation, I read the book "Dongshilang Diary".

Toshiro was born on April 27, 1912 in Danhou cho, Takeno Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. In August 1937, Dong Shilang, 25 years old, was called up by the Emperor of Heaven. He was a first class soldier of the 20th Infantry Regiment of the 16th Division of the Japanese Army. He had participated in the battles of Tianjin, Shanghai, Nanjing, Xuzhou, Wuhan, Xiangdong, etc., and returned to China due to illness in August 1939. In March 1944, he was called again to participate in the war of aggression against China and read the book "Don't forget the book". In August 1945, he surrendered to the Chinese army in Shanghai and returned to Japan. After the war, he successively operated movie theaters, machine tool manufacturing, etc., had four daughters and a son, and his family's living standard was rich

The Diary of Dong Shilang comprehensively demonstrates the historical needs of the Nanjing Massacre to the world, and reflects the cruelty and ruthlessness of the Japanese invaders.

I still remember this paragraph:

The Supreme Court on Zhongshan Road, which is equivalent to the Ministry of Justice of Japan, is a large gray building. A dilapidated private car overturned in front of the court. There is a pond across the road. I didn't know where to draw a Zhina man, and his comrades in arms teased him like children playing with puppies. At this time, Sibon put forward a cruel proposal, that is, put the Zhina man into a bag, pour the gasoline in the car, and then ignite it.

So, the crying Zhina man was put into the mail bag, the mouth of the bag was fastened, and the Zhina man struggled and cried desperately in the bag. Xiben kicked the bag around like playing football, and urinated in the bag like fertilizing vegetables. Sibon took out the gasoline from the broken car, poured it on the bag, tied a long rope on the bag, and dragged it back and forth on the ground. People with a little conscience frown and stare at this cruel game, while those without a conscience loudly encourage and feel interested. Sibon caught fire. As soon as the gasoline was lit, a creepy scream came out of the bag. The bag jumped and rolled with all its strength. Some comrades in arms still find it interesting to face such a cruel play. The bag rolls like a fireball, sending out bursts of screams in hell.

Siben pulled the rope on his pocket and said, "Hey, I'll cool you down if it's too hot." He tied two grenades to the bag and then threw it into the pond. The fire gradually extinguished, the bag sank down, and the ripples of water slowly calmed down. Suddenly, "Peng!" The grenade exploded, causing water spray.

After a while, the level calmed down and the game ended.

This Japanese soldier, Nishimoto, is really cruel. He has no life and no dignity in his eyes! He may not have thought about what he would look like if others treated him or his relatives in such a desperate way? If other countries, like his own, invade his country, will he feel aggrieved? I think he may not! Because he never knew what the true humanity was!

Now, our motherland is strong. Maybe no one dares to bully us, but we should never forget the humiliation we suffered in that era! Because forget the history, the tragedy will repeat! Let us remember the sufferings of our nation, study hard, and build our motherland into a truly democratic, prosperous and strong socialist country!
