In such a difficult time, people in Baiyangdian live a very miserable life, but they still remain extremely loyal to the motherland and the nation, full of enthusiasm for life, and have unlimited hope for the future. Some of them left their relatives and took the initiative to join the army to fight against the enemy. Some people in the rear have tried their best to contribute to the cause of resistance against Japan by their own means, such as cadres and the masses helping each other, warmly entertaining the wounded Eighth Route Army, and earnestly enlightening the backward elements.

Now, we are in the era of peace, and the country is increasingly prosperous. As every member of this country, we should love our motherland and make our due contribution to its prosperity.

In order to read the book Baiyangdian Chronicle, I specially checked it. Baiyangdian used to be an inconspicuous place in Jizhong Plain. I didn't know it existed before I read this book. But even in such a small village, the spark of resistance against Japan is spreading quietly.

When it comes to Chinese anti Japanese heroes, perhaps most people will think of anti Japanese generals like Yang Jingyu and Zhang Zizhong, or legendary figures like Bethune and Zhao Yiman. However, like the men, women and children represented by the aquatic sister-in-law in Baiyangdian, no one described them, nor did anyone record them. Although each of them is insignificant, it is precisely because there are millions of people who have an undying enthusiasm for the revolution that China has won great victory in the Anti Japanese War for many years. There is a good saying, "Your name is unknown, and your merit will last forever". It is millions of such ordinary people that make our nation survive through difficulties and hardships.
