I think: if I do well in the exam, I can eat KFC. If you don't do well in the exam, you may eat "stewed meat" at home! What will happen to me? If I fail the exam, I will be beaten at home. But if I do well in the exam, I can eat KFC! But I didn't do well in the exam.
