A Dream of Red Mansions has become one of my favorite books. I can't put it down.
This book mainly tells about Lin Daiyu, who is as quiet as a delicate flower. After her mother died, she was taken over by her grandmother, Jia Mu, who lived in Jia's house in the capital to live with her. Daiyu and Baoyu are the closest. They like each other. However, Lin Daiyu soon fell ill when she heard that Jia Baoyu was going to marry Xue Baochai. Later, because Wang Xifeng used a switch, Baoyu happily married Xue Baochai without knowing it, but later found that it was Xue Baochai, arguing to see Lin Daiyu. Unfortunately, Daiyu had died. After a serious illness, Baoyu became a monk. The story has also ended tragically.
After reading this book, I felt Lin Daiyu's love and sadness. Although she was a "master girl", she was also called a "little belly chicken intestines". She was nothing but an obsession with Baoyu. For the tragedy of love, I think the important factor is that Lin Daiyu's character is too lofty, she is incompatible with the secular world, and it is difficult to integrate into the whole family. Her inferiority is the embodiment of her self-esteem, and also the beginning of her life tragedy. Lin Daiyu is so pitiful, and Xue Baochai is so ruthless. Xue Baochai, the grand lady, married a man who did not love her in the name of someone else. Isn't she afraid that Bao Yu will leave her because of disappointment after lifting the red veil? This also makes her what to do. She didn't expect that a "heartless and moving" will end up alone in an empty room.
Worldly people may not understand her thoughts: "When I die, I will be buried. When will I be buried? When will I bury flowers? I will laugh, but I will know who will be buried in the future." Facing Hualuo, she cannot help but cry bitterly when she thinks of the situation after her death. After she was cast into a well in Jinchuan, her inferiority aroused her self-esteem. When Baoyu was beaten, the sophisticated Xue Baochai sent medicine. As the supporter of wronging Baoyu, the kind and arrogant Lin Daiyu just cried, turning her eyes into peaches. Her crying is not weak, but supports Baoyu with the unique emotional experience of crying, which can make love deeper.
When I closed the book A Dream of Red Mansions, I recalled the misfortunes of Daiyu and Baoyu over and over again. It was really a sad story. I think they would be very happy without Wang Xifeng's obstruction.
