Yesterday I took the time to watch the premiere, and I haven't written about the film for a long time. Since this is the film I have been looking forward to seeing, I tried to get tickets for the premiere to enjoy it first.
I have known Director Gao Qunshu for some time. I have always appreciated his talent. His TV play and film Tokyo Trial are all my favorite works. Because the theme of the film Wind is more of a type I like, I can't wait to see it. Of course, the film did not disappoint me, but also made me feel painful, so I want to write this post.
When I first knew the theme (who is the killer) of this film, I thought of "Very Suspect", and then I saw the cast, which was naturally waiting for me. Although I had already guessed who the killer was, I also felt that the calculation of this film was precise. No matter in terms of production, special effects, script, actors, and directing skills, it was excellent. Because many themes and consciousness would have some limitations on the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, it was a happy thing to see that the finished product of this film had not been greatly cut.
Under the banner of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, The Sound of the Wind is the first spy film, which has a very promising selling point. In addition, it was released during the National Day, and the audience's choice under the founding of the People's Republic of China was only the Sound of the Wind. Because too many films have to make way, forming the dominating theater line of "The Founding of the Republic of China". When most of the audience see "The Founding of the Republic of China", they naturally want to change their taste. As long as the standard of "The Wind" is up to standard, they will not worry about no audience. I believe that the box office in the mainland should be able to achieve good results.
In terms of drama, it is really a good movie, but there are some shortcomings in a good movie. Some people say that some plots are boring, and some people say that Huang Xiaoming's role performance is not as good as that of other actors. These are small problems, the key is how the overall effect is. There is no film that everyone likes, let alone a film that all actors like, but it is enough for the audience to like it! It is also a strategy to let some audiences have opinions and topics, which is more realistic than no one seems! So... do I have no opinion at all? Of course not! Indeed, the pace of Hong Kong people is really a bit longer (120 minutes), the layout is really flawed, and the killer has long been on the verge of coming out, but... not everyone can guess the middle game, not everyone will think of the middle game. I have already guessed all these (I can guess the structure and layout from the perspective of the producer and creator), but I like this film because I appreciate the whole, rather than picking bones from eggs. If you want to use your head, fight your wits and watch torture, this film will not disappoint you.
