We angels in white have always performed our glorious and sacred duties. Those with white hair have never lost their ambition. Youth is like a flame, full of passion. Winter and summer come and go, and the stars change. In countless sleepless nights, we feel the symphony of life and death.
In February this year, our hospital needed a head nurse to teach in Hetian. The head nurse of our department, with the demeanor of a senior nurse, resolutely signed up and accepted the important task. In order to better complete the task, she looked for books to prepare lessons, and invited a teacher from Nursing University to personally guide her. She said that I represent the medical university and the hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in our autonomous region. I will pass on the concept of service to patients to students, and integrate love and dedication into teaching. On the day of leaving, she told us one by one to work together and try our best to satisfy the patients. The head nurse often calls to inquire about the department. In March this year, the number of in-patients in our department increased sharply, and we had extra beds. What should we do if we don't have enough bedding? We took out the bedding in the duty room and spread it on the patients. One by one, patients in their seventies and eighties were operated on. Some could not hear clearly, and some could not use their legs and feet. Our nurses took the trouble to do health guidance again and again, to help them turn over, check their skin, and test their vital signs. We all know that the operation of elderly patients is unusual, and if a bolt falls off, it would be life threatening.
An elderly patient with cervical cancer in our department needs to be treated with neutron knife. When she learned that she was depressed and extremely afraid of the disease and neutron knife, Su Ying and the responsible nurse took the trouble to conduct psychological counseling, explaining the advanced nature of the neutron knife, the superb technology of the hospital doctors, and the shuttle bus to pick up and send the patient. The old man was very confident and loved talking and laughing. The first time the neutron knife was finished, because the patient had anal pain and didn't want to do it again, it was our nurse who gave encouragement and finally insisted on finishing the treatment. When the patient recovered and left hospital, she bought a banner and wrote a thank-you letter. The old man said that you were very kind. I was moved by your care for the patient and your attitude to work.
On the afternoon of April 10, when the shift was handed over, a patient was suddenly pushed from a wheelchair. His face was pale and his whole body was paralyzed. Everyone immediately carried the patient to the examination table. The measured blood pressure was 60/40, the pulse was weak, and the puncture and extraction did not coagulate. The shift nurses closely cooperated with each other, taking oxygen and blood, preparing skin, catheterization, infusion, and blood preparation. He was sent to the operating room in only seven minutes, because the nurses knew that, Time is life. When we saw the red light on the patient's pale face, everyone was full of happy smiles, because we recovered life from the god of death.
The patients come one by one and walk one by one healthily. Although they are tired every day, they will gain their physical and mental health. Human beings are always threatened by diseases. However, no matter how hard or tired we are, we will not change our service aspirations, because we have excellent models, firm beliefs and Nightingale spirit. As nurses, we can inherit Nightingale's career, and our hearts are full of unprecedented pride.
The trickle flows into the Yangtze River. Calling for kinship and humanity is the requirement of society and the yearning of life. The hospital has created an atmosphere of learning, service, dedication and improvement for us, so that we can truly realize the value of nurses. I work, I am happy, I am busy, and I am happy. It will always be our proud theme.

It is hard to remember how many patients are welcomed and sent, but what remains constant in our hearts is our dedication to this post, and what our hearts release is our infinite love for this profession.
