Chinese traditional culture has a long history, a grand China, and five thousand years of civilization. It has bred a unique national temperament, which is the most precious cultural heritage that our Chinese descendants should inherit. Every Chinese people should share the wisdom of our ancestors, study the essence of traditional Chinese culture, and appreciate the supreme truth handed down by the world. Among the numerous cultural treasures, I have a special liking for The Analects of Confucius.
The Analects of Confucius is a collection of quotation style thoughts and essays recording the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples, which can be called the classics of the Confucian school. The Analects of Confucius was written about in the early Warring States Period. It is mainly in the form of quotations and antithesis, which embodies Confucius' moral ideas, educational thoughts, political propositions and ethical norms. Its content involves philosophy, politics, economy, education, literature and other aspects. Therefore, "The Analects of Confucius" enjoys the reputation of "half of the" Analects of Confucius "governing the world".
When I opened the title page of the book, I saw "Confucius said:" It's a pleasure to learn when you learn it. It's a pleasure to have friends coming from afar. It's also a gentleman if you don't know and don't sulk? Isn't it a happy thing for like-minded friends to come from afar? People don't understand my knowledge and morality. I'm not angry. Isn't this also a person with high moral needs? This is the first chapter of the opening chapter of The Analects of Confucius, which indirectly shows that throughout the life of a person, there are three things that are most important: self-learning, interpersonal communication, and improving moral cultivation. Among them, "If people don't know and don't get angry, isn't it also a gentleman?" When they are not understood by others, the problem may be that they don't communicate enough. They should take the initiative to communicate more and communicate more. Of course, they should also deal with the problem properly. When they are not understood, they may need to do the work of explanation and dredging. Sometimes they will wait patiently. Time will prove everything.
In this book, I learned a lot from the sentence "Learn from time to time, review the past and learn from the new". It tells us that after learning knowledge, we should often review it, and you will experience more fun from it! There is a time of success in everything, but even so, we must strive to be the best. We should have the spirit of being eager to learn and good at learning. I used to be a little sloppy. I never reviewed my lessons, and my learning efficiency was even lower. After reading this sentence of Confucius, I also understand that learning is very important. We should pay attention to methods in learning, review and practice regularly in time, and learn with a happy mood. Life is long, but learning is endless. Whether in ancient times or now, learning is always the top priority in one's life, and one's essential spiritual food. Most of us know the importance of learning and practice. However, the learning method of "learning without thinking is useless, and thinking without learning is dangerous". If you only read and learn without actively thinking about problems, you will be ignorant and have no gain, which is what we usually call dead reading. On the contrary, if you just dream and don't study, you will be confused, and mental fatigue will become "paper talk".
I turned over the Analects of Confucius page by page, looked at the profound and thought-provoking words, and carefully tasted the charm of each word. When I saw "Confucius said," Governing silently, learning tirelessly, and teaching tirelessly, how can it be for me? "What emerged before me was our teachers who worked hard to educate us. In this chapter, Confucius summarized his own academic philosophy from the perspective of being a teacher, and explained how to do a good job to become a qualified teacher. Confucius believed that people should be good students and teachers. To be a good student is to learn on our own initiative, which is the concept of "lifelong learning" that we now advocate. "Never get tired of learning". When learning is not enough, it is never too old to learn. Isn't it lifelong learning? To be a good teacher is to teach steadfastly and impart the cultural knowledge acquired by oneself to students, which is the basic duty of a teacher. Confucius was well aware of this, and believed that it was not enough to do this only, and he had to implement it tirelessly throughout his life. According to historical records, Confucius has 3000 children, including 72 sages. The reason why Confucius can achieve such brilliant teaching achievements is inseparable from his tireless teaching.
The Analects of Confucius is just like a bridge connecting the saints and our hearts. Through it, we seem to have walked through thousands of years, stood under the door of Confucius, listened to tireless teachings, and understood the truth of life and the wisdom of life.
