Today, my classmates and I went to the electric classroom on the second floor to watch a movie called Walking to School.
This movie is about a family in a remote mountain area. There is a little boy in the family. He also has a sister and mother. My father has been working in the field for a long time. Her sister goes to school every day. The little boy is very clever and eager to go to school. But his mother refused to let him go to school because the slippery rope almost fell into the river once. Once, when he went to school secretly, he met a new teacher from the city, and he ran away immediately. When the teacher wanted to visit his sister's home, his mother knew that he had gone to school secretly and wanted to beat him, but the teacher stopped him. Before the teacher left, he gave his sister two pairs of socks and a pair of rain shoes. The next day, the teacher bought him a pair of shoes and asked his sister to send them back. On the way, a shoe fell off. His sister wanted to get it, but unfortunately, her sister also fell into the river. The little boy was very sad when he found out. After the bridge was repaired, the little boy imagined that he and her sister would go to school hand in hand.
After watching the film, my heart shook slightly and I couldn't help feeling ashamed. Now we have such a good living environment, but we don't know how to cherish it. The little boy and his sister in the movie have to risk their lives to go to school. We have to take a car far away, walk near, and have nothing else. We don't know how to cherish this hard won condition, and we don't want to go to school.
After watching the film, I cried. I don't know whether I was moved by the film or ashamed of what I had done. I secretly thought that we must cherish life, cherish time and study hard.
