At the beginning of the sixth century of the Yuan Dynasty, Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty, Xiao Yan, a knowledgeable scholar, was good at literature and elegant calligraphy. He admired Wang Xizhi's calligraphy very much, so he ordered people to select a thousand different characters from Wang Xizhi's handwriting, and asked Zhou Xingsi, an official of the Yuan Dynasty, to compile them in the form of four character verse. The words and sentences should be closely linked, and should be rich in literary grace and charm, so that children can learn to read and master the necessary knowledge from them.
Zhou Xingsi was quick in thinking, and he compiled the Thousand Character Essay overnight. However, the next day, his hair was grey.
The Thousand Character Essay is composed of a thousand different words, covering nature, society, history, ethics, self-cultivation, life, education, agronomy and other fields. It has a large number of historical stories, idioms, allusions, proverbs, which are rich in content, broad in knowledge, including astronomy, geography, and natural society. This is the fundamental reason why it has been enduring.

After reading the story of Wei Zhao, as a class cadre, he should take the lead in the class. He should not pretend to understand what he is learning. He should not be timid when encountering difficulties. He should humbly ask teachers or parents for advice.
