The Past 61 (1)

Night, no sleep.

The day after tomorrow is the last Children's Day in my life.

I don't have to wear bright red scarves and bright red school uniforms every day.

I remember that every June 1st before, the head teacher would buy ice cream or lollipops to celebrate the festival with the students. The ice cream (or sugar) looks very attractive. The students tore the bag in front of the teacher and slowly stuffed it into their mouths. After eating, they deliberately "smacked" their mouths, making the teacher's eyes straight.

At the get-together, the school forbids taking snacks to the scene, but Xiaoxiao always sneaks a bag or two with her, and takes advantage of the leaders' carelessness to tear open the snacks and eat them in small bites. Even if the leader saw her, Xiaoxiao would smile and say, "I didn't come to dinner in the morning because the party was held so early." The leader looked at Xiaoxiao's thin body and had to scold her for something urgent. No matter what happened, he must have dinner in the morning. A small cheerful nod.

Students without programs would sit together and comment on the students who performed on the stage: "Ha ha~Hulusi lost her voice!" "Can their lipstick be red again!"

After the performance, the students who had the program would deliberately touch their fingers with bright lipstick, and then rush to the students with open teeth and claws, and laughter filled the whole place.

If I could, I would rather have time frozen forever, frozen in the moment when the students were smiling.

The Past 61 (3)

Childhood is the truth in dreams, the dream in truth, and the tearful smile in memories—— notes preceding the text of a book or following the title of an article

For children, the symbol of summer is inevitably the mysterious cicadas that "only hear their voice, but not their shadow", and the Children's Day that has been looking forward to all day, accompanied by the sound of "knowing and knowing", another June Day is coming.

I suddenly opened my sleepy eyes because I heard a sentence, "Today is Children's Day!" I sat up and lay down again, making the bed shake with a harsh sound. There is a trace of boundless desolation in my heart. This June 1st will no longer belong to us.

At one time, we would spend weeks or even months rehearsing the June 1 program before the Children's Day. The year before Children's Day, we would rack our brains to think about what clothes to wear the next day, what braids to wear, and how to leave a fresh feeling. Now, we don't have time to think about these anymore. Our minds are full of the adjacent final exams. We have struggled for just one point for countless days and nights. If there was no reminder from my friends, I would have forgotten the June 1 Children's Day that I had been looking forward to day and night.

After lunch at noon, I hurried to the classroom to write more questions. I happened to see the teacher's child catching a butterfly on the lawn in the campus. The butterfly landed on the leaf of clover. The child stretched out her fleshy arms and hands. First, she walked to the butterfly carefully and stealthily. At the end of the day, she trotted up and held it forward with her arms. However, the butterfly was more responsive than she was and had already fled. It is conceivable that she threw herself into the air and fell into the grass because of her imbalance, but he seemed to care nothing. He still shouted "Butterfly, butterfly" in his mouth, got up and continued to search.

I stopped to watch, but was surprised to find that several flowers had already opened in the green grass, among which several butterflies were flying. However, what's more surprising is that I don't know when I am no longer interested in flying butterflies, and I will never try my best to catch the beautiful creatures. I just stand aside and sigh and write these boring words. I can no longer find the courage to continue to move forward after falling down. I used to hate parents and teachers for comparing their scores with students, but now I have unconsciously fought with my classmates to find the so-called driving force for progress.

After a while of numbness, I suddenly saw a butterfly fly past my eyes, across a round arc, and the cicadas on the top of my head still kept rising. However, I found that my concept of summer was only a period of time from May to August. It was not only the June 1st Children's Day, but also my childhood that had no place to place.
