When I read about the educator's life, I read a sentence that is worthy of my reading and also admired by me. It was not said by Froebel, but by his colleague Papouro. This sentence is like this: "If we do not attach importance to and start the reform of family education, school education will lack the correct and indispensable foundation." I read this sentence several times over and over again, which really inspired me. Because talking about family education reminds me that most of the current parents of students (in this case, students' parents) work outside to earn money, leaving their children at home to their grandparents. Although some parents are at home, they never ask their children about their studies and always focus on making money. How can parents know that children's influence and performance in front of them and grandparents are completely different. Therefore, I think that some students' bad habits and even bad behaviors have a direct relationship with their parents. Therefore, if we do not attach importance to family education, school education will lack a correct and indispensable foundation. Only by combining school education with family education can children be educated well.
People often say: "Parents are the first teachers of children." Yes, Pablo also has a saying that confirms the importance of parents' education. However, I think his statement is one-sided. He believes that "the necessity of cultivating smart mothers is paramount, because the importance of early childhood education is above all else." In my opinion, in a healthy family, fathers are equally important in children's minds. If a father cannot be as important as a mother in the eyes of a child, then the family must not be a healthy family. Not only the mother should be smart and capable, but also the father. Without a good family education environment, even good children will form bad habits or even learn bad. I have a typical example here: there is a boy named XX in Grade 6 of our school. His academic performance has been very good in the last few years. However, in the past two years, due to the divorce of his parents, both sides have remarried and remarried, neither of them asked about the children, and left a child in a relative's home. The child has been infected with some bad habits due to the influence of his parents and the "edification" of bad social practices. The parents are not around, and as a relative, it seems that he is not well disciplined and too strict. However, the child often plays truant. Even when he comes to school, he does not study hard, either making trouble in class or fighting with his classmates. His academic achievements can be imagined. His head teacher has no way to recruit him, because he is now "invulnerable". Doesn't this have a direct relationship with his parents?
Therefore, I believe that only a good family education environment with the education of our school can make children grow up and become useful. Otherwise, it is a defective and incomplete education.
