There are two views.
1. From a positive perspective, it is believed that Zeng Xi advocated the rule of propriety. What he said is the result of the rule of propriety, the picture of a peaceful and prosperous world, and consistent with Confucius' political ideas of "benevolent rule", "rule of propriety" and "enlightenment". Therefore, Confucius said "I am the same as the point".
2. Understanding from the negative aspect, Zeng Xi believed that he was advocating a passive avoidance of the world, which was in line with Confucius' idea of "the way is not good, and floating in the sea by beam", so Confucius said "I am with the point".
