Samsung's Exynos 2300 plan has long been questioned. The flagship chipset, if launched, will power the Galaxy S23 series next year, but the new report now provides contradictory information about the company's current position.
Last week, a report disclosed the model and code of Samsung's flagship chipset, which is expected to be Exynos 2300. More information about the SoC has now surfaced, but unfortunately there is almost no confirmation of which chipset the Galaxy S23 series will be equipped with in Europe.
According to the typical and reliable leaker @ chunvn8888, the information provided by Exynos2300 code named "Quadra" before is accurate. Again, Samsung at least once owned the Exynos 2300. Roland Quandt said that the information was correct at least six weeks ago, although the situation may have changed since then.
Another leaker, Yogesh Brar, claimed that Samsung was promoting the implementation of Exynos 2300 on the Galaxy S23, but might finally adhere exclusively to Qualcomm's upcoming Snapdragon 8Gen2. However, on the other hand, @ chunvn8888 firmly refutes the rumor that the Galaxy S23 series may use MediaTek chipsets.
For now, Samsung Galaxy S23 series will use the combination of Snapdragon 8Gen2 and Exynos 2300 according to regional models, or only use Qualcomm chipsets. However, the latter seems more likely, and some Korean sources also claim that the Exynos 2300 has been completely scrapped.
