River transportation characteristics:
1. The motion mode of water particles;
2. Means of material handling;
3. The carrying capacity and capacity of the river.
Characteristics of glacier transport:
1. The transportation and sedimentation of glaciers are mostly seen in cold polar regions and high cold mountain areas. The flow is slow, but the transportation capacity is very strong. Because the rock fragments frozen in the glaciers cannot move freely, there is little friction and collision between them, so the edges and corners of rock fragments are rarely worn.
2. During solid transportation, moraine can be sorted without separation. During transportation, the friction between rock blocks and bottom wall often forms special ice scratches. When glaciers reach warm places, they melt and deposit the materials they carry.
