Johannes Kepler (December 27, 1571 November 15, 1630), born in the town of Wildstadt, Baden Wuerttemberg, Germany, graduated from the University of Tubingen, German astronomer, physicist, mathematician, founder of modern experimental optics, known as the "legislator of the sky".
Kepler was a key figure in the scientific revolution in the 17th century. His most well-known "three laws of Kepler" had a profound impact on astronomy and physics. On November 15, 1630, Kepler died of illness at the age of 58 in Regensburg, the Principality of Bavaria, the Holy Roman Empire.
