Jiru Village is an administrative village under the jurisdiction of Gangba Town, Gangba County, Xigaze City, Tibet. It is located in the south of Gangba County, Shigatse City, Tibet, along the border between China and India. The average altitude is 5050 meters. As of September 2020, there are 538 people in 134 households in the village. There are 8400 Gamba sheep in the village, and the per capita income exceeds 11000 yuan.
Before 2015, villagers in Jiru Village lived in adobe houses.
In 2015, the infrastructure construction and residential reconstruction of Jiru Village were implemented, with an investment of more than 50 million yuan, and the power was connected to the national grid.
