Tianjin will give priority to the admission of ethnic minority candidates. According to Tianjin Education and Enrollment Examination Institute, since the 2023 college entrance examination, the policy of "adding 5 points to the file when minority examinees apply for Tianjin municipal colleges and universities" has been adjusted as follows: when enrolling in the city's colleges and universities, minority examinees, under the same conditions as Han examinees, have priority in admission.
Score adding form of college entrance examination
1. Add 20 points
There are the following categories of graduates from the current senior secondary education school:
Those who have outstanding deeds in ideology and morality in the stage of senior secondary education and have been commended by the Party committee and government at or above the provincial level;
Candidates who have won the first prize in the provincial competition area or the first, second and third prizes in the national final of the National Olympic Competition for Middle School Students in the senior secondary education stage;
Those who have won the first and second prizes of the National Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition (including the national youth biological and environmental science practice activities), "Tomorrow's Little Scientist" award activities and the national computer production activities in primary and secondary schools at the senior secondary education stage;
Winners of the International Science and Engineering Grand Prix or the Olympic Competition of International Environmental Research Projects in the senior secondary education stage;
Candidates who have won the national first level athlete title in the senior secondary education stage, and who have won the top six in major international sports competitions, the National Games, the National Middle School Games, and the World Middle School Sports Competition Trials, as well as those who have won the national second level athlete title in the above competitions, must be uniformly recognized by the Provincial Education Examination Institute.
2. Add 10 points
Candidates include ethnic minority candidates, returned overseas Chinese and their children, overseas Chinese children, Taiwanese candidates and martyr children.
3. Priority admission
Candidates who have retired from active service, disabled soldiers, children of servicemen who died on duty, children of servicemen with disabilities from Grade I to Grade IV, counties (cities) stationed on the border, desert areas, three types of areas in the remote areas determined by the state, children of servicemen in special, first and second types of island forces determined by the army, disabled people's police, children of people's police who died on duty The children of the people's police with disabilities at the first to fourth levels who apply for college entrance examination enjoy priority admission under the same conditions as other candidates.
The bonus policy also clearly stipulates that the ex servicemen who seek jobs on their own can add 10 points to their total scores in the unified examination; Retired servicemen who have won second class merit or above or have been awarded honorary titles by units at or above the major military area (including) during their service may add 20 points to their total scores in the unified examination.
