Differences between national and provincial civil service examinations
Different organizations; Different examination contents; Benefits are different.
1. Different organizations. The fundamental difference between the local provincial civil servant examination and the national civil servant examination is determined by the examination organization department, recruitment unit and geographical scope.
The national civil service examination is organized by the National Civil Service Bureau, and the civil service examination in various regions is organized by the organization departments, human resources and social security departments in various regions.
2. The examination content is different. There are more or less differences in the time, content, place and difficulty of provincial and national examinations.
As far as the examination time is concerned, the national examination time is basically fixed. The registration time is in the middle and late October of each year, the examination time is in the late November, and the interview time is in the February May of the next year.
As far as the examination content is concerned, both of them include written examination and interview. The written examination adopts closed book method.
In terms of question type and difficulty, the national examination is relatively stable, while the provincial examination is slightly innovative on the basis of the national examination to reflect the characteristics of the province. The difficulty of the national examination is relatively greater than that of the provincial examination.

3. Benefits are different. The civil servants who have passed the provincial examination and the national examination are all "national civil servants". They are managed in accordance with the Civil Servant Law and the same system. There is also a unified salary system after employment. However, due to different geographical scope, department (industry) category and unit level, the salary and promotion space will be different.
In terms of region, the average wage level of the eastern coastal and first tier cities is higher than that of the central and western regions; In the sector (industry) category, the wages and benefits of customs, finance, securities and fiscal and taxation systems are higher than those of other sectors.
