Li Qingzhao is the first talented woman in the literary history of the Qing Dynasty. Her works are diverse, of many types, and of many new themes, which can be said to be unique. Even Li Qingzhao's works had a great influence on later generations of poets, such as Lu You and Xin Qiji.
Li Qingzhao and Li Bai
Li Qingzhao is a famous poetess and Li Bai is a great poet. Both of them have great influence. Li Bai, in particular, has world influence. Li Qingzhao has few works left, while Li Bai has many works left.
Li Qingzhao (from March 13, 1084 to about 1155), a native of Jinan (now Zhangqiu District, Jinan, Shandong Province), Qizhou in the Northern Song Dynasty, is a female poet of the Song Dynasty and a representative of the graceful and restrained Ci school.
Li Bai (701-762), a famous Romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty, whose name is Taibai, his name is Qinglian Jushi, and his name is also "Immortal Exiled", is known as the "Poetry Immortal" by later generations.
Today's children recite most of the ancient poems, so Li Baizhen can be said to be a household name. Li Qingzhao's works are mainly studied because they have a certain literary appreciation.
The influence of Li Qingzhao's works on later generations
Li Qingzhao's excellent writing and lyrics are unparalleled in the history of Chinese spiritual civilization.
Li Qingzhao's Ci poems can be divided into two phases, one is in the south, the other is in the front and the other is in the back. The early Ci mainly describes the theme of the sad parting in spring and the boudoir life, which shows the sentimental personality of the poetess.
Li Qingzhao's words are euphemistic, fresh and sincere. The early words mainly describe the lives of young girls and young women, and more about boudoirs, revealing her longing for love life and the pain of separation and lovesickness.
In her later poems, she lamented her life experience and sometimes expressed her nostalgia for the Central Plains to express her patriotism. Li Qingzhao's literary creation has a distinctive and unique artistic style, ranking first in the graceful and restrained school, and is unique in the field of poetry, known as "Yi An Style".
Li Qingzhao's Position in Male Poets
Even in the eyes of Southern Song people, Li Qingzhao's words are mixed.
Those who praise the beauty say that "the words are particularly graceful and beautiful, often surprising, and rarely comparable" (in the volume of "Pingzhou Ketan" by Zhu Yu of the Southern Song Dynasty), "small words are popular", and so on; Wang Zhuo (Southern Song Dynasty) can be the representative of those who hate it. He said in Volume II of "Biji Man Zhi" that Li Qingzhao's words are more undesirable than those who are traditionally regarded as "side words and beautiful songs".
For example, in the 140th volume of Zhu Xi's "Zhu Zi Yu Lei", it is said: "Women in this dynasty can write, only Li Yi'an and Madam Wei can. Li has a poem, which roughly says:" The Han Dynasty was followed by Shaoxing, and the new room was like a wart. So Ji Zhongsan, until death, was thin in Yin Zhou. "Zhongsan was not Tang Wude's country, and was cited to compare with Wang Mang. How can women do such words."
It can be seen that Li Qingzhao is not only the best among women, but also among a group of brilliant male poets in the Northern and Southern Song Dynasty.
