There is no limit on the number of civil service examinations. Candidates who meet the requirements of the civil service examination can continue to take the examination in the next year after failing the examination. The national examination and provincial examination will be held once a year. Under the condition of no conflict of time, candidates can take the civil service examination twice a year.
1. National Civil Service Examination
Generally speaking, the national examination is held once a year, and the annual national examination meeting is launched in the second half of the previous year.
2. Multi provincial joint examination
Before 2020, the time of civil servant joint examination is basically stable, and the registration usually starts in March, and the written examination is held in the middle and late April. Although most provinces arrange the examination on the same day, the recruitment procedures and examination arrangements are independent. Each province has its own registration time and organizes the examination independently. The examination policies and recruitment conditions of each province will also be different.
Since 2020, the time of civil service examination in various regions has been adjusted. It is recommended that candidates pay more attention to the latest news and prepare for the exam in advance.
3. Independent entrance examination in each province
According to the examination situation over the years, some provinces will also organize civil servant recruitment examination separately. In terms of examination frequency, most regions of the country only take the examination once a year, but some regions organize two or three examinations a year. Part of the annual meetings in Shenzhen and Guangzhou will also organize municipal civil servant examinations separately. Occasionally, other cities also organize municipal civil servant examinations separately. However, this kind of examination has relatively no fixed rules to follow, which will not be known until the recruitment announcement is issued.
