1. The story of rain:
During the Anti Japanese War, there was a child named Yu Lai who lived in Luhua Village. Yulai likes swimming very much and has good water quality. One day, the devil came to "mop up", and the rain came home alone. Suddenly, Uncle Li, a traffic attendant, burst in, and the rain hid him in the hole under the tank. As soon as the rain came and ran out, the enemy came and caught it.
A flat nosed officer asked him, "Did you see a man running in?" Rain said he didn't see him. The officer with a flat nose grabbed Rain Lai's ear and pulled it to both sides. He slapped Rain Lai twice on his face. Rain Lai was very painful and insisted that he hadn't seen it. The officer with a flat nose was so angry that he cried out, "Go out and shoot!"
Shots rang from the riverside, and the villagers were very sad. Everyone thought that Xiaoyu had died. Suddenly, the rain came and showed his little head from the river. Before the gun was fired, Rain came to plunge into the water while the enemy was unprepared, so Rain didn't die.
2. Yu Lai is the hero of "Little Hero Yu Lai". The characters described by Guan Hua, a writer, have been selected into Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools nationwide as early as half a century ago, infecting and educating more than one generation. Yulai fought wits and valor with the Japanese invaders at that time, and finally defeated the devil. Today, the Little Hero Yulai Memorial Park has become a revolutionary tradition education base and a frequent place for adults and children.
