East Capital: Luoyang. In the second year of Tang Xianqing, Luoyang was the eastern capital, also known as Tokyo. Tianbao was officially named Tokyo in the first year.
Sidu: Chang'an. In the second year of Tang Xianqing, Luoyang was the eastern capital, and Chang'an was also called the western capital, also known as Xijing. It was renamed Xijing in the first year of Tianbao and Zhongjing in the second year of Zhide. In addition, there was a brief Xijing in the Tang Dynasty, namely Fengxiang Mansion (now Fengxiang, Shaanxi). Since Fengxiang was the residence of Emperor Suzong of the Tang Dynasty when the two capitals were not recovered in the second year of Zhide, Fengxiang Prefecture was changed to Fengxiang Mansion, with the title of Xijing, and the title of Beijing was abolished in the first year of Shangyuan.
Beidu: Taiyuan. The three dynasties of Tang, Jin and Han in the Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties all took Taiyuan, their birthplace, as Beijing.
