Apple fast charging line. Apple PD fast charging line is also called USB-C to Lightning fast charging line. Different from the traditional Apple data line, its two end interfaces are USB-C and Lightning, so it is also called C-to-L fast charging line for short.
Difference between pd charging line and ordinary charging line: 1. Charging speed: the pd charging line is internally integrated with a quasi resonant current mode controller and power MOSFET, which have the characteristics of high performance, low standby power consumption, low cost, etc., while the ordinary charging line is generally 5V2A charging standard, and uses constant current and constant voltage charging, so the charging speed is slow.
2. Current conversion after charging: the chip on the pd charging line can control the charging process and automatically stop charging once it is fully charged, making the whole charging process safe and efficient. However, the ordinary 5V2A charging line will automatically change to trickle charging state after the battery is fully charged.
