1. Peanuts are usually sown from April to May in spring, when the weather is warm and humid, which is conducive to seed germination. Before sowing, the seeds need to be placed in clean water to soak, which can shorten the dormancy time. The soil needs deep tillage and land preparation. Then, the seeds need to be sown into the soil and covered with 5cm of soil. If the temperature is less than 20 ℃, it is better to cover with plastic film to keep warm.
2. Peanut planting methods
(1) Seed treatment
Before sowing, peanut seeds need to be placed in clean water to soak, so as to shorten the dormancy period of the seeds. Soak them for 10 hours and then soak them in carbendazim solution for 3 hours to achieve disinfection and sterilization.
(2) Land preparation
Land preparation is also a key place for planting peanuts. Select a soil with high porosity and strong ventilation capacity. You can add a proper amount of fine sand to the original soil, and then plough it 20cm deep. Expose it in the sun to kill all bacteria and viruses contained in the soil.
(3) Sowing
Sow the peanut seeds into the soil, cover 5-10cm of soil, and finally water the soil until it is wet. If the ambient temperature is about 12 ℃, cover the film after sowing to keep warm. After the peanut germinates, the film can be punctured. The temperature of peanut growth is best maintained at about 20 ℃.
