1. Pretreatment of sugarcane before crushing
Sugarcane pretreatment mainly uses crushing equipment to cut and tear the sugarcane, so that the sugarcane can be fully broken. The compressor harvests a lot of sand, mud, stones and other sundries in the sugarcane, which can be broken only after washing and sand discharging.
2. Press
After sugarcane enters the compressor unit, sugar is extracted through multiple pressing and multiple infiltration, which is the main part of the whole compression section. After the sugarcane is pressed, the juice and bagasse shall be transported separately to ensure the normal pressing. The mixed juice contains a lot of sugarcane chips, which should be separated by the curved plug, and the recovered sugarcane chips should be sent back to the cane press for processing.
3. Cleaning of sugarcane juice
The mixed juice sent from the juice extraction section is dark green turbid liquid, and its main component is sucrose, in addition, it also contains insoluble non sugar impurities. Such as chlorophyll, sugarcane chips, soil and other suspended substances, as well as soluble non sugar impurities, such as various organic salts, colloidal substances and inorganic salts. The cleaning method is generally to heat the mixed juice and add chemicals to precipitate impurities, and then separate the precipitates to obtain clear and transparent juice with low chroma. In order to obtain the maximum effect of removing non sugar, the sediment should also have good sedimentation performance and filtration performance to facilitate separation.
4. Evaporation of sugarcane juice
In order to reduce the consumption of steam, the utilization of secondary steam is a main way, so it has become the center of thermal economy research in sugar mills. The potential of the secondary steam evaporated from sugarcane juice, which can not only be used for the next heating, but also be drawn out for other equipment, and can also be extracted as the heating steam of the first effect evaporation tank after the pressure is increased through compression. The secondary steam extracted from the evaporation tank and used for other equipment is usually extracted from the pipe of the secondary steam, but also from the steam drum of the next effect, which can improve the flow rate of steam in the steam drum and fully eliminate non condensable gas, thus improving the evaporation energy release of the next release.
5. Crystallization of sucrose
The clear juice is evaporated and concentrated into a syrup with 60-65b force and a temperature of about 60 ℃, which is called coarse syrup. It must be further concentrated to precipitate and crystallize. Boiled crystals. The mixture with molasses is called molasses. After the sugar paste is unloaded, it is cooled down to make the precipitation of sucrose more complete, and the original and crystal continue to grow. This process is called crystallization aid. The sugar paste after crystallization is separated from sugar and molasses by high-speed rotary centrifuge. The white granulated sugar obtained from the separation is dried and screened to obtain a product of certain specifications, which is the finished white granulated sugar.
