Need to transfer milk
It is not allowed to change milk powder directly, even if it is of the same brand. To transfer milk, the best method is to mix new and old milk powder. Parents should mix the milk powder to be replaced with the milk powder that the baby has previously drunk, and try to add new milk powder to the original milk powder as much as possible. Start with a smaller amount and gradually increase the proportion appropriately, Until the new milk powder completely replaces the old milk powder, such as:
Add 1/4 new milk powder to the old milk powder on the first two days.
On the 3rd and 4th days, 1/3 of the new milk powder was mixed into the old milk powder.
Mix half of the new and old milk powder in the first 5-6 days.
On the 7th day, 2/3 new milk powder was mixed.
From the 8th day, the baby will be completely converted into new milk powder.
It usually takes 1-2 weeks to transfer milk, and it needs to be gradual to let the baby's stomach and intestines have a process of adaptation. During this period, it needs to closely observe whether the baby has any adverse reactions, such as diarrhea, constipation, allergy and other symptoms. If so, corresponding measures need to be taken, such as extending the milk transfer time, drinking more water, or stopping new milk powder.
