Wuyi County belongs to Hengshui City, Hebei Province.
Wuyi County is located in the southeast of Hebei Province and the northeast of Hengshui City. It is adjacent to Fucheng County and Jingxian County in the east, Taocheng District and Shenzhou City in the west, Zaoqiang County in the south, Wuqiang County in the north. It is within the radiation range of Beijing Tianjin metropolitan economic circle and port economic radius. It is adjacent to Botou City in the northeast. It is 27 kilometers wide from east to west, 42.5 kilometers long from north to south, and 830.1 square kilometers in total.
Wuyi County governs 7 towns, 2 townships and 1 district, with a total population of 355000 (2012). In 1994, it was identified by the State Council as a national key county for poverty alleviation, in 2001, it was listed by the State Council as a key county for poverty alleviation and development, and in 2002, it was named as the "Hometown of Vegetables in Hebei".
