Avalokitesvara and Bodhisattva are the same. Avalokitesvara is a symbol of compassion and wisdom in Buddhism, and plays an extremely important role in Mahayana Buddhism and folk beliefs. The spirit of great compassion led by Avalokitesvara is regarded as the root of Mahayana Buddhism. According to the Buddhist scriptures, Avalokitesvara Avalokitesvara is the embodiment of the Dharma Buddha in the past. He searches for voices to save suffering in the boundless land with the body of Bodhisattva. Guanyin has a special relationship with Amitabha. He is one of the three sages in the West, a Dharma Bodhisattva who is also a lifelong mendicant, a Bodhisattva who inherits the position of Amitabha, and also said that Avalokitesvara is the embodiment of Amitabha.
Guanyin Bodhisattva has a vast desire for equality and selflessness. When all living beings encounter any difficulties and pains, if they can sincerely recite Guanyin Bodhisattva, they will be rescued by the Bodhisattva. Moreover, Guanyin Bodhisattva can best meet the requirements of all living beings. For different living beings, he will show different bodies and say different ways. Among the numerous Buddhists, Guanyin Bodhisattva is also the most well-known and believed by the people. In China's Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Taiwan, and among overseas Chinese in Southeast Asia, the belief in Avalokitesvara is extremely popular, so called "Amitabha in every family, Avalokitesvara in every household".
