My friend came back from sketching outside, holding a thick stack of sketches for me to enjoy. I feel very puzzled about some of the paintings. There are some straight plants in the shape of lollipop. I have never seen such strange plants, let alone call their names.
So I asked him: What are you painting?
My friend's expression of surprise at me was obviously expected. He smiled and explained: "These are some fir trees. If you draw one of them separately, you will be even more strange, because it is like a lengthened lollipop.".
Oh, my friend is the same as I imagined.
He continued: But when they live together and become a forest, you won't be surprised. When you approach them, you will be deeply shocked by their momentum, because this is a true attitude of sunshine.
Originally, in the world of those fir trees, they must go all out to embrace the sun. Therefore, their trunks can soar into the clouds, and they also put every leaf of life in a position where they can embrace the sun. If a cedar gives up its desire to go up, it will soon be buried deep by its neighbors, and eventually wither and die slowly because of the loss of sunlight.
I suddenly want to ask myself this question: In life, will you always present a sunny attitude like those fir trees?
