The registration conditions for the environmental assessment engineer examination stipulate that the applicants must have a diploma in environmental protection related majors and meet certain working years. The environmental protection majors cover a wide range. For example, environmental engineering, environmental science, ecology, chemistry, applied chemistry and other majors can be examined.

Examining the role of EIA engineers
There are two main employment directions after passing the EIA exam, namely, technical posts and sales majors. The specific work contents of these two employment directions are also different.
Environmental impact assessors need strong learning ability when working in technical posts. The work direction of the technical post is the treatment of three wastes, namely water treatment, garbage treatment and flue gas treatment. Among them, there are many industries involved, and employment is more extensive. Among them, flue gas treatment is the most popular, and the salary is also good.
The environmental impact assessor does not need a strong major when working in the sales position, but the employer is more inclined to the interviewees who graduated from the environmental engineering major when working. Only with certain professional knowledge can they give professional explanations to customers, and they can also undertake some after-sales services.
