Sima Yi, whose name is Zhongda, is filial to the people of Wenxian County, Hanoi Prefecture. He was good at devising strange strategies and made great contributions to many expeditions. The most remarkable achievement was that he led the army to successfully resist Zhuge Liang's Northern Expedition and pacify Liaodong on expeditions twice. It has made important contributions to the development of agricultural economy such as land reclamation and water conservancy. He died at the age of 73, resigned from the county and was buried in Shouyang Mountain. The posthumous title was Xuanwen. The second son Sima Zhao granted the title of Queen of Jin, followed by the posthumous title Sima Yi as King of Xuan. After Sima Yan became emperor, Sima Yi was honored as Emperor Xuan, and the temple name was Gao Zu.
