1. Economy: small production is selfish and narrow. Lacking cooperation, our feudal society was based on a self-sufficient natural economy. The small peasant economy represented by the peasantry, with the family as the production unit, has less demand and communication with the outside world, and any labor force can independently complete the labor process, and has little demand for division of labor and cooperation, which results in the closed, conservative and backward nature of the Chinese peasantry, and thus lacks the spirit of cooperation.
2. Politics: not the representative of the new productive forces. During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, there was no advanced class and its political parties, but only the peasant class, which itself did not represent the advanced productive forces and could not put forward a correct revolutionary program. After a certain degree of victory, it exposed insurmountable contradictions and went back to feudalism. In addition, the "Tianchao Tianmu System" stipulates that the land and property should be shared equally. Such absolute equalitarianism is totally divorced from reality, and of course cannot be realized. Although the New Chapter of Governance issued at the later stage reflected the development requirements of capitalism, it also exceeded the historical development stage, and lacked the social conditions for implementation, and failed to play a role. These are political manifestations of the limitations of the peasantry
