Is there only two additional examination subjects for cost engineers
There are four examination subjects for cost engineer, but the additional examination can be exempted from two basic subjects, and only two professional subject examinations are required. The examination subjects of the first level cost engineer are Construction Engineering Technology and Measurement and Case Analysis of Construction Engineering Cost.
The two professional subjects of the first level cost engineer examination are divided into four professional categories: civil construction engineering, installation engineering, transportation engineering and water conservancy engineering. If the two basic subjects of the first level cost engineer meet the exemption conditions, they can apply for exemption.
Exemption conditions for first-class cost engineer:
1. Having obtained the qualification certificate of highway engineering cost personnel (Class A);
2. Having obtained the qualification certificate of cost engineer of water transport engineering;
3. Has obtained the qualification certificate of water conservancy project cost engineer;
4. Those who have obtained a professional qualification certificate of cost engineer and apply for other professional subjects can be exempted from basic subjects.
Personnel applying for exemption from some subjects shall provide corresponding materials when registering. Those who are exempt from taking part of the examination must pass the examination subject in two consecutive examination years.
