Holding the ape in mind is Wukong, and tying the horse in mind is like turning into a dragon. There are eight precepts to abstain from greed and lust. To abstain from killing and hating is Wujing.
The whole Journey to the West seems to be a story of fighting monsters, but it is actually a success story that tells people how to defeat the demons.
Sun Wukong is a person's heart, Tang Monk is a person's body, Pig Bajie is a person's lust, Monk Sha is a person's nature, and White Dragon Horse is a person's willpower.
