Conditions for applying for the 2023 Self study Examination
1. Citizens of the People's Republic of China, regardless of gender, age, nationality, race and education level, may apply for the self-study examination for higher education at the time and place specified by the Provincial Education Examination Institute.
2. Candidates who apply for the self-taught undergraduate course should bring their diploma and ID card to the local registration point for the specialty. Undergraduate students who apply for an examination with a different specialty from their majors will take additional courses according to the different needs of their majors.
3. Only those who have a college degree recognized by the state can apply for the self-taught examination of undergraduate higher education.
4. For the majors whose self examination has been announced to be closed, only the registered candidates can apply for the examination according to the relevant documents.
5. For majors with special requirements, candidates must apply for the examination according to relevant regulations. When applying for the undergraduate diploma, the examinee must submit the original of the national recognized junior college diploma or above, otherwise, the undergraduate diploma will not be applied for. Candidates who are studying in a junior college can also apply for the undergraduate course, but they must have a junior college diploma when receiving the undergraduate certificate.
Registration process of 2023 Self study Examination
（1） Online registration
1. Log in to the website for self examination.
2. Go to the designated bank specified on the website of the Self study Examination Office to apply for a bank card for fee payment.
3. New students who have applied for bank cards and old examinees with bank cards complete online registration according to the registration process specified on the registration website.
4. New students who have successfully registered online need to go to the Self study Examination Office to make their admission cards by camera at the time specified by the Examination Office.
（2） On site registration
1. Freshmen should bring their ID cards (soldiers should show their military cards or certificates of units above the regiment level) (household registration books should be presented when they are under 18 years old) to the city and county self-study examination offices (registration stations) where they are located to go through the registration procedures.
2. At the same time, carry a 2B pencil or blue black pen signature pen (for filling in the machine readable application card), and hand in several one inch bareheaded photos with the same background (about 4-5).
3. Pay the fees according to the staff's prompts, and get the printed examination notice, which includes the examination date, examination room and seat number.
