Can I retake the exam for licensed Chinese pharmacists
The examination system of national unified outline, unified proposition and unified organization is implemented for the examination of licensed Chinese pharmacists. In principle, it is held once a year, so licensed Chinese pharmacists cannot apply for the examination. However, since the examination results of licensed Chinese pharmacists are subject to a four-year rolling management system, that is to say, the examination results are valid for four years, as long as the candidates pass all the examination results in four consecutive examination years.
The management measures for examination results of licensed Chinese pharmacists are explained as follows:
Licensed TCM practitioners include four subjects: professional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (I), professional knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine (II), pharmaceutical administration and regulations, and comprehensive knowledge and skills of traditional Chinese medicine.
The management measures for examination results of licensed Chinese pharmacists can be divided into two situations: the full four subjects refer to those who need to take four subjects, and the exemption from two subjects refers to those who only need to take two subjects: pharmacy management and regulations, and comprehensive knowledge and skills of traditional Chinese medicine.
Those who take part in the examination of all subjects must pass the examination of all subjects in four consecutive examination years. Personnel who are exempt from the examination in some subjects must pass the examination in two consecutive years.
