China Zun is a super high-rise building located in Plot Z15, the CBD core area of Chaoyang District, Beijing, with a total height of 528 meters. It will be planned as the headquarters building of CITIC Group in the future.
China Zun, located in Plot Z15, the core area of Beijing Central Business District, will be the highest landmark in Beijing in the future. The project has a land area of 11478 square meters and a total building area of 437000 square meters, including 350000 square meters above the ground and 87000 square meters below the ground. The total height of the building is 528 meters. The building has 108 floors above the ground and 7 floors below the ground (excluding mezzanine), which can accommodate 12000 people. It is the headquarters of CITIC Group.
Zun is an ancient ritual vessel. It means to worship. When you get up, hold your hands to the top and stand upright. So the designer takes "China respect" as the moral of the highest building in Beijing: the building is towering into the clouds, showing the momentum of standing up, which coincides with the expression of "respect". In addition, the architectural form of respect is also different from the common linear form of high-rise buildings in Beijing, which makes this building stand in the skyscrapers in the CBD core area can also clearly reflect the solemn oriental charm.
Of course, the meaning of "respect for China" is not only reflected in the form of the building, because it is located in a special geographical location and has the responsibility of being the highest in Beijing. Therefore, its architecture itself also has the connotation of "respect": "respect" means the highest landmark building in the core area of Beijing CBD with world-class city as the development goal, which means that this building is dedicated to "the gift of China" in its prominent identity of "the respect of the times".
Plot Z15 is a skyscraper. The emergence and construction of skyscrapers began in the West, but its development and innovation are in the ascendant in the East. Therefore, the design of Z15 also tries to combine Chinese characteristics. Whether it is the appearance of "Chinese respect", the mechanism of bamboo weaving, or the spatial intention of "Kongming Light" and the overall urban design of the CBD's core portal, all of them show that this is a new building that originates from Chinese culture, is based on the Chinese capital, and reflects the future of Beijing.
