The application conditions for graduate students in foreign universities vary according to the different university projects applied by students. 1. Academic achievements
Academic achievements are the main reference materials for foreign university admissions officers. The better the undergraduate background and the higher the average score, the greater the opportunity to apply to famous universities. The average score of applying for the top 100 schools in Australia and Britain should be at least 75-85 and above, depending on the course.
Taking studying in the UK as an example, if students have a good background in undergraduate institutions and can achieve an average score of more than 80 points, there is a high probability that they can apply to the University of Sheffield, the University of Birmingham, the University of Manchester, the University of Edinburgh and other famous universities; If you want to apply for a G5 school, you usually need an average score of 85 to 90 and above.
It should be noted that the top 200 universities in the UK basically have a list of recognized Chinese universities, and only accept applications from the universities on the list. Therefore, students must determine whether the undergraduate institutions are on the approved list before applying.
2. Language performance
To apply for studying abroad, language requirements are essential. Although most universities and majors in Australia, Australia and New Zealand accept applications without language scores, they must provide a certificate of qualified language scores (such as IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, etc.) before they finally enter the university. The study abroad in Britain, Australia, the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, New Zealand and other countries usually accept the application of IELTS or TOEFL scores. Generally, the application for studying in IELTS for master's degree needs to reach 6.5 points or above. If the application is for a higher professional degree in English linguistics, translation, law and other professions, the IELTS may require 7.0 points to 7.5 points.
