1. Dexterous Jianshou: Dexterous Jianshou was a dinosaur species with large claws on its forelimbs, which lived 63 million years ago.
2. Anchiornis herzewalskii: Anchiornis herzewalskii is a four winged feathered dinosaur that appeared 15 million years earlier than Archaeopteryx. Its discovery further supports the theory that birds originated from dinosaurs. According to a recent study, Anchiornis Hescheri was 34cm long from head to tail, with black and white stripes on its wings and a reddish brown crown on its head, very similar to modern woodpeckers.
3. Tianyulong: Tianyulong is a dinosaur as big as a domestic cat. Its back has long hollow feather filaments, which are primitive feathers. Before the discovery of Tianyulong by excavation, the original feathers were only found on the body of theropods, which were bipedal bird dinosaurs. However, the Tianyulong came from different lineages. They came from the ornithopods dinosaur family, which is a kind of dinosaur with horn like structure and armor. This discovery suggests that the history of dinosaur feathers can be traced back to very early dinosaur species, after which they evolved and separated into different species.
4. Crested Dragon: Crested Dragon existed 10 million years earlier than Archaeopteryx. Archaeopteryx is the first bird discovered so far. Its discovery confirmed that dinosaurs had feathers before birds.
5. Millennium Sinoornithosaurus: Millennium Sinoornithosaurus is the fifth feathered dinosaur found. Structural anatomy studies show that this dinosaur has a jaw, which contains grooved fangs, suggesting that it may be the first known toxic dinosaur. It is about 1 meter long and lived 125 million years ago. It may mainly feed on small birds, which coexist with other dinosaur species.
