"I don't know where to start, but I go deep" is from the Kunqu opera Peony Pavilion. The Peony Pavilion is the work of Tang Xianzu, a playwright of the Ming Dynasty. It describes the love story between Du Liniang and Liu Mengmei that transcends life and death.

Du Liniang, the heroine of The Peony Pavilion, was an official girl who fell in love with Liu Mengmei because of her dream of the book. But she missed him all day long, and finally died of lovesickness. Du Liniang died and turned into a wandering soul. Liu Mengmei just lived in the Plum Blossom Nunnery near Du Liniang's tomb. Du Liniang, as a wandering soul, fell in love with Liu Mengmei. When the old Taoist nun found out about this, she helped Du Liniang revive and finally the two people fell in love.
Author of Peony Pavilion
The author of Peony Pavilion was a dramatist and litterateur in the Ming Dynasty. In addition to the Peony Pavilion, Tang Xianzu also wrote many dramas that have been handed down to later generations, such as The Resurrection of Soul, Nanke, Purple Hairpin and Handan. These four works are collectively called "Linchuan Four Dreams", and have high artistic value.
