Zou Jixiu has more than eight feet, but the appearance is beautiful. His wife said, "Who am I as beautiful as Duke Xu in the north of the city?" His wife said, "You are so beautiful. How can Duke Xu match you?". Don't be self-confident, and then ask his concubine: "Which one is more beautiful than Xu Gong; If you look at yourself through the mirror, you can't see far away. In the evening, I thought about it and said, "My wife's beauty is my own; my wife's beauty is my fear; my guest's beauty is my desire."
So he went to the court to see the king, and said, "I sincerely know that Xu Gongmei is not as good as his wife. My wife is a private minister, my concubine is afraid of my minister, and my guests want to ask for something from my minister, and all of them like Xu Gongmei. In today's Qi Dynasty, there are thousands of miles, hundred and twenty cities, and palace ladies around the king. There are no officials in the court who are not afraid of the king, and there are no requests from the king within the four borders. From this perspective, the king is very well covered!"
The king said, "Good." It was an order: "The officials and people who can stab me in the face will be rewarded; the people who have written to me will be rewarded; the people who can slander me in the city will be rewarded; and the people who can hear my ears will be rewarded." At the beginning of the order, the officials were admonished and the audience looked like the city; After a few months, progress from time to time; After the end of the new year, although you want to speak, there is no way forward.
Yan, Zhao, Han and Wei Wenzhi were all in the Qi Dynasty. This so-called victory over the imperial court.
2. Sima Qian's Historical Records, Biographies of Qu Yuan (excerpts):
Qu Pingji, the king, did not listen to the words of wisdom, slandered and flattered people, and evil music harmed the public, which was unacceptable to the upright. Therefore, he wrote Lisao with sorrow and meditation—— "LiSao", also from worry. Heaven is the beginning of man; Parents are the foundation of people. Poor people are counter productive. Therefore, I am very tired from my hard work, and I cannot help crying out to the sky; I have never stopped calling my parents when I was in pain. Qu Ping went straight along the right path, devoted himself to serving his king with wisdom, and slandered the world. It can be said that he was poor! If you believe and see doubt, if you are loyal and slandered, can you have no resentment? Qu Ping's work Li Sao is a self reproach. It is called Emperor Ku on the top and Qi Huan on the bottom. Tang Wu is described in the middle to stab the world. It is impossible to see the wide respect of morality and the orderly governance of chaos in the Ming Dynasty. Its words are small, its ambition is clean, and its conduct is honest. Its name is small, but its meaning is huge. It can be seen far from the past by taking a similar example. Its ambition is clean, so it is called Wufang; He is incorruptible, so he will not accept death. From the sludge of Shuzhuo Lake, cicadas exult in the filth, floating outside the dust, not getting the world's filth, and those who sink into the mud without dross. Push this ambition, though it can win glory with the sun and the moon.
3. Han Yu's "Teacher Talk":
Ancient scholars must have teachers. Teacher, so preach and learn to dispel doubts. People are not born knowing, who can be free from doubt? If you are confused and don't follow your teacher, you will be confused. Born in front of me, his smell of Tao also comes from me, so I can learn from him; Born after me, he also heard the Tao before me, so I learned from him. I am a teacher, and I know that my husband was born to me in his years! Therefore, there is no value, no lowliness, no strength, no lack. The Tao exists, and the teacher exists.
Alas! It has been a long time since the teachings of teachers were not passed on, and it is difficult for people to have no doubts. In ancient times, the sages were far away from others, so they still followed their teachers and asked questions; Today's people are far away from their sages, and they are ashamed to learn from their teachers. Therefore, holiness is beneficial to holiness, and folly is beneficial to folly. Is this the reason why saints are saints and fools are fools? If you love your son and choose a teacher to teach him, you will be ashamed of him and confused. The teacher of the boy, who taught the book and learned the sentence, is not what I call a person who preaches his way and solves his doubts. I don't know how to read and understand the sentence, or I'm confused, or I'm not a teacher, or I'm not a teacher. Witch doctors, musicians, and workers are not ashamed of their teachers. The family of literati and officials who say "teacher" or "disciple" will gather together and laugh. When asked, he said: "He is like that year, and the way is similar. If you are in a low position, you will be ashamed. If you are in a high position, you will be flattered.". Woo hoo! If the teacher's way is gone, we can know. Witch doctors, musicians, and workers are despised by gentlemen. How strange that their wisdom is unmatched today!
Sages have no constant teachers. Confucius learned from Tanzi, Chang Hong, Shi Xiang and Laodan. Tanzi's disciples are inferior to Confucius in virtue. Confucius said, "If three people walk together, there must be a teacher." So students need not be inferior to teachers, and teachers need not be better than students. It is said that there is a certain order, and there is a certain specialty in the art industry.
Li's Zipan, 17, is good at ancient Chinese, and has learned all the six arts and classics. Yu Jiaqi was able to follow the ancient path, and wrote the "Teacher Talk" to encourage him.
